Latest News from AiHireDecember 2011 - Calty Constructions/ A i Hire golf dayAustralian Independent Hire are extremely proud to be associated with Calty Constructions and in a show of our appreciation we were more than happy to attend their recent end of year Golf extravaganza and supply some prizes to those lucky enough to be able to play the game the way it should be. This years event was held at the Tallebudgera Golf Course and thankfully in great weather conditions. Apparently the attire for the day was meant to be fancy dress although this wasn't revealed to most attendees until thirty minutes prior to tee off. Rob Cook from Calty constructions excelled in organising the event and arranging some great prizes from many suppliers. His organisational skills were far and beyond his golf skills and therefore a suggestion was made at the presentation that he concentrate on event management and not participation. Special clothing attire that deserves recognition include Murphs stroll through his wardrobe to find his best Hawaiian shirt matched with his 70's porn star glasses and a pair of stubbies that he refuses to let go of. Rourkey had managed to steal Santa's shorts and one of his helpers hats but even the big fellas clothes didn't assist his scorecard. Stan played with flashes of brilliance but showed more promise at the 19th hole in the beer consumption stakes. Although Chris is employed as safety officer their were definitely safety issues when it came to standing in front, behind or alongside him when playing his shots. But there must be a special mention for Joel who wore a stunning black chiffon dress that matched his tattoos perfectly without impairing his poor playing style. The day was a great success and enjoyed by everyone. Thank you Calty Constructions for the opportunity to be part of your day and your custom in 2011.

May 2010 - Australian Independent Hire & Gold Coast Bulletin working togetherAt Australian Independent Hire we can take care of your facilities maintenance needs. Andrew Nightingale from the Gold Coast Bulletin can confirm this. When Andrew needed two Elevated Work Platforms to carry out regular maintenance at their Molendinar Print Centre, A i Hire couldn't wait to help. After consulting with Andrew and JLG and assessing exactly what was required, A i Hire were able to supply a new JLG 20MVL man lift and Genie GS1932 scissor lift. Both machines have been selected for specific reasons including weight and performance capabilities. The JLG 20MVL was ordered specifically for the Bulletin and is not your standard unit with an extending work platform for added flexibility when working over machinery. With an overall operating weight of just over 1,000kg the 20MVL was the only unit that could be moved safely throughout the plant using service elevators and forklifts. Andrew and the Gold Coast Bulletin are extremely happy with the units provided and the service arrangement that goes with all of A i Hire's long term hire agreements. For all your long and short term maintenance needs requiring Elevated Work Platforms or Aluminium Scaffold, just contact Australian Independent Hire.
